colour blind

Today marks the last day of Reconciliation Week. A week from the 27th of May to the 3rd of June, which celebrates the rich culture and history of Indigenous Australians,  this years theme was 'lets talk recognition' and as a celebration my school held a casual clothes day, influenced by the colours of the Indigenous flags; red, black and yellow for the Aboriginal flag and green, blue, black and white for the Torres Strait Islands flag.

I really wish I had of brought my camera to school today, to capture the amazing outfits put together. Some of the girls looked brilliant, despite the fact there wasn't any really incorporation of the Indigenous colours. They all tried their hardest, no doubt.

xx. -can't wait for tomorrow night!
