nothing beats really good fried rice

Where does the time go these days? It feels like I was just sitting down to check my emails a moment ago when it was 8:30 its now 10:20...Maybe it's just one of those days. Anyway, this is my (very bad, poorly shot, attempted) outfit post of what I wore a few nights ago when I went out with some of the loveliest lovelies to this Chinese restaurant with the best fried rice, (but then again, isn't all fried rice amazing!)

stalker town

Feeling quite inspired by black and white photography recently I took some snaps of my favourite leather jacket, $5 from an oppie (E P I C W I N). Maybe its because my favourite subject of all time, SLR photography is coming to an end, I may constantly smell like salt and vinegar because of the chemicals but I am in love with the anticipation and experimenting. Maybe its because I have been viewing (stalking is such a harsh word) some amazing blogs recently with some pretty school cool black and white pictures. These are just the tip of an amazing black and white mountain...

in the summer

There has been a small glimmer of hope that one day summer will return this week, the temperature has reached above 12 and the sun has appeared more than once!!! HAZAR!  This seems to go incredibly well with the trend of the minute ' colour blocking '  I, myself am not really one for colour, no matter the season, but that's no reason to ignore such vibrant colour which in turn creates a summery feel within my icy cold winter heart.

The things I miss most about summer are the drives to the beach, sleeping in, soaking up the sun, tan lines (good or bad) and the brown glow that follows, glorious beach hair, late night partys and living with out time.

a girl can dream, can't she?

It's 11:45...

I have spent the last three days in my room, studying and preparing for exams on a caffeine induced rampage...I am only in year 10! Everything has started to blur into a massive collage of annotated folio work, cue cars and so much typing!!! As today is the Queens Birthday (well, it's not but anyway, don't question a day off, right?) I took some time out, created a mess and reacquainted my clothes with the floor.

How did you spend your long weekend? Hope it was more enjoyable than mine.
